-<strong>Abstract:</strong> This article is intended for the Christian in a racialized culture. It considers the historical root of the current means of classifying humans based on phenetical traits, such as skin color. It goes on to consider the theological root of why even some churches hold to a 3-race categorization of humankind. It explores current science and also Biblical exegesis to deconstruct some of these ideas. Then it focuses, ultimately, on eschatological aspects of how Christ will judge nations, and warn Christians regarding which "identities" they would like to number themselves with, the motives behind it, the redemptive potential of doing so, and even cautions from the churches of Revelations about which congregations to identify with in light of effective church governance.
